At the time of production – all O2 is removed from the tub as it is sealed (and with Oxygen absorbency packets placed inside for added protection) and then it is sealed of all light. This is why it is placed into a thick Solid White Tub – so no light can penetrate into the product. As you open the seal – light and Oxygen activates “wakes up” the Probiotics and Enzymes. The cold of the Freezer (best) or fridge puts them into a dormant state again, and keeps your product perfectly fresh.
