Cedarwood essential oil has anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-septic, anti-spasmodic and insecticidal properties. Cedarwood helps soothe irritation, inflammation, redness and itchiness, as well as lessening dryness that leads to cracking, peeling or blistering. It is useful in times of emotional stress and anxiety to overcome feeling of powerlessness.
Lavender essential oil has anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti fungal, and anti-septic properties.
Yogurt moisturizes as it soothes, softens and rejuvenates the skin.
Milk and yogurt contain lactic acid, a natural alpha hydroxy acid that helps the remove dead skin cells and hydrate and sooth the complexion-leaving skin refreshed and clear. Yogurt is rich and nourishing and is helpful for all skin types, even the sensitive and delicate. It makes a wonderful soap that is very moisturizing with a great texture!
Activated Charcoal (charcoal that has been pulverized and steamed) has a great drawing power due to its wider surface area, enabling it to absorb a higher volume of bacteria, impurities, and micro-particles. Charcoal absorbs dirt and debris from pores leaving skin ultra-clean, soft, smooth and radiant.
Moringa powder is a great addition to our homemade soaps, giving it a beautiful natural color and design.
