Beeswax is produced by the (female) worker honeybees. The bees mould the wax into six-sided cells which are filled with honey and then capped with more wax. When honey is harvested, the top layer of wax that covers the cells, called the cappings, must be removed. Our unrefined beeswax, which may contain some honey and propolis varies in color from a light yellow through brown and retains the sweet smell of honey. Beeswax forms a lovely, light barrier on your skin that prevents loss of moisture and helps seal in moisturising oils and butters, without clogging pores.
Jojoba is a very versatile oil. It moisturizes the skin, unclogs pores and has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties, making it a good option for treating skin conditions such as acne, eczema, and psoriasis. Jojoba is a good choice for all skin types. Whether your complexion is dry, oily, or a little bit of both, Jojoba oil can help balance skin’s natural oil production. Jojoba is highly emollient and does not clog the pores. It provides excellent non-occlusive, non-greasy moisture control.
Rosehip Oil (Organic) can help brighten your skin, help prevent blackheads and reduce inflammation. It also contains linoleic acid which help prevent acne and shrink pimples. Rosehip (plant based Vitamin C) can help boost Collagen formation, help with eczema, redness and itching, and reduce scarring and visible signs of aging as well as nourish the skin with vitamins and essential fatty acids to help plump and hydrate the skin.
Pomegranate Oil (Cold Pressed) can help dry or aging skin and help make the complexion smoother and more supple. It nourishes our skin with massive stores of Vitamin C (which is the precursor to Collagen manufacturing in the body), and as a massive Antioxidant, it neutralises the Free Radicals that cause wrinkles and aging.
Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil helps moisturise and nourish the skin, supporting skin regeneration, and supports skin tone and texture, as well as lessening inflammation and redness.
Sweet Almond Oil contains many nutrients that are healing for the skin, including Vitamins, Minerals, Fatty Acids and Anti-oxidants. It helps soothe and hydrate your skin and hair, and reduces the appearance of scars, stretch marks and wrinkles.
Calendula is soothing and anti-inflammatory, rich in healing Anti-oxidants and moisturises and nourishes to help heal and regenerate, while lessening the bacteria and fungal growths that increase pimples, acne and rashes.
Chamomile helps regenerate, tighten pores and slow down the effects of aging. It also helps lighten and brighten the skin, and reduces blemishes and redness, as well as pigmentation and eczema.
