Licorice root has a number of beneficial qualities when it comes to naturally treating hair loss. It works to alleviate a dry, irritated, or scabbed skull. But, most importantly, licorice root opens pores and strengthens weakened hair follicles, which is often the cause of hair loss in the first place.
Marshmallow root extract is a popular ingredient in many hair conditioners for its amazing slippery texture for easy detangling as well as softening the hair. It is high in plant protein that promotes healthy hair growth and shine while also soothing dry scalp and skin inflammation.
Chamomile helps eliminate and prevent dandruff, soothe scalp irritation and promote healthy hair. It adds highlights to fair hair and a sheen to dark hair and it conditions and softens.
Shea Butter provides deep nourishment for the hair shaft and moisturizes dry, dull hair resulting in improved luster and manageability. It is particularly beneficial for processed and heat-treated hair and is also believed to help promote new hair growth.
Olive Oil, used for centuries in hot oil treatments, helps repair split ends, control dandruff, and makes your hair shiny, silky, and lustrous. In our Licorice Shampoo Bar we use only extra virgin olive oil.
Avocado butter promises to nourish and hydrate the hair and scalp.

Ingredients: Herbal Tea with Chamomile, Licorice and Marshmallow Roots, Extra Virgin Olive Oil infused with Chamomile, Licorice and Marshmallow Roots, Sodium Hydroxide, Coconut Oil, Avocado Butter, Shea Butter, Rice Bran Oil, Castor Oil, Lavender Essential Oil.

Handmade soaps are just that – HANDMADE in small batches using the traditional cold process method. This technique requires a lot of preparation and a minimum of 4-6 weeks of curing time in order to ensure the highest quality and preserve the therapeutic benefits of our botanical ingredients.
