The Natural Vibrance office is doing a Vibrant Cleanse. This is what we have to say about it…
Sunday – Day 1
“The first day is always difficult. I got hungry towards the evening and over lunch. I drink my glass of Vibrant Cleanse every 2 hours, which is just about when I start getting hungry. Day 1 done.” – Jacques
“Started the cleanse on a Sunday, I had a few moments where I felt hungry but they passed as soon as I had my next glass of Vibrant Cleanse. I spent the whole day gardening which helped keep my mind busy and off the thought of food. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. My energy levels were definitely lower than usual but not to an extent where I couldn’t do anything.” – Candice
“I felt hungry late at night” – Sam
Monday – Day 2
“I woke up after a full 9 hours of sleep, I felt great and had a lot of energy when I woke up. I was tempted to hit the gym but thought I would rather wait till after work to make sure I didn’t have an energy slump during the day, which I haven’t . I am a lot less hungry than day 1.” Candice
“Day 2 is always the hardest. Had cravings for food all day, and a little headache. I get hungry every 2 hours, but that is also when I have my next glass. Went for a relaxed gym workout. Oh and I already lost 2 kg :)” Jacques
“Craving food and feeling a bit tired” – Sam
Tuesday – Day 3
“Today is a lot better. Don’t feel so hungry anymore. Getting easier. Was craving salt.” Jacques
“Had another great night sleep, felt very energised and managed to do a 45 min gym session in the evening. Lost 3.7kg so far! Feeling great.” Candice
“Slept well and woke up feeling energised” – Sam
Wednesday – Day 4
“Feeling good, no longer craving food” – Sam
“Best day so far. Getting easier every day. Slept very well and feel I have more energy.” – Jacques
“I joined in the cleanse on Day 4, I have been run down for the last 2 months and it seems the reason is because I have Fibromyalgia, so I am doing a 9 day cleanse to get rid of it before it gets worse. Day 1 – me head was extremely sore and I felt hungry. Day 2 – slept so deeply it was amazing – glands are down, headache comes and goes. Still don’t have a lot of energy but it has definitely improved.” – Kimberly
Thursday – Day 5
“Today was also easy. Did some exercises and felt good afterwards. I miss eating more than being hungry. Almost done. Just one more to go.” – Jacques
“I was completely surrounded by food over day 3, 4 and 5. I sat through 3 family lunches, 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts, it was hard but it was ok. There are a few things that got me through it… 1) My neck is no longer constantly in pain, I can tilt my head back without having to lift my shoulders in support and my headache has gone 2) I know that I need to do a 9 day cleanse and if I stopped on day 3 I would just have to start all over again 3) There will be many more meals to enjoy, a cleanse is temporary, I can wait :)” – Kimberly
“Again had a really good nights sleep. I have so much more time on my hands now with not having to prepare meals for the day, it has been great! Even found time to read a book :)” – Candice
“Day 1 of the cleanse was easy – as I have done this many times before and always look forward to the end result. Day 2, 3 and 4 were sheer hell. I really suffered. My head hurt, I felt sick and just totally washed out. I could not sleep as my head hurt too much, but last night I slept so well for the first time in months. I woke up at 5.00 am feeling a lot chirpier and stronger. I think that tomorrow will be my breakthrough day.” – Ange
“Well – it is day 5 of my cleanse, and I am finally starting to feel human. About 3 months ago, I had very severe pneumonia after contracting a bad virus with very high fever. I was finally admitted to hospital in ICU and had to have my lungs flushed out under anesthetic about 5 weeks later. I was in bed for 2 months – unable to get up, and it has taken me a long time to recover. Doing this cleanse has been harder for me than ever before, as I do not take any chemical meds and my body took great strain from the anesthetic, the antibiotics and all the other medications I ended up on. I have not felt the same since. What amazes me about this all – is that I live a wonderfully pure organic only wherever possible, pesticide and chemical free life, I take wonderful supplements daily and really take care of my health, but one bout of chemical medicine can leave me feeling so awful and make the detox so hard – that I really worry about the deeper effects it has on ones cells. I can only imagine what must be happening inside the average body – where people eat badly, consume a lot of pesticides & chemicals, eat junk food and take chemical meds and do not ever detox.
I am so grateful for being able to do this and give my body the break it needs to restart itself!”
– Ange
Friday – Day 6
“What a great feeling! Slept well and feeling full of energy. Lost almost 4kg. From tomorrow it’s the post cleanse.” – Jacques
“I was dreading Friday the most, I figured this was going to be the hardest day not to eat. It really wasn’t. I felt great and kept myself busy during the day and in the evening.” – Candice
“I’m feeling great this morning and not hungry not thinking about food I am just a little bored of drinking the same thing but not much longer to go” – Kimberly
Saturday – Day 7
“I decided to extend my cleanse because I was feeling so good. I spent the morning at a market with family, surrounded by foods and managed to get through fine. I made sure I had a cleanse on hand in case I got hungry. I had lost 5kg by the end of day 7.” – Candice
